Covid-19 Update

The Clarington Animal Hospital remains open and able to meet the ever-changing needs of both you and your pets.

We continue to offer regular appointments as well as all surgical procedures Monday to Friday. The hospital will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

We are very excited to begin the stages of re-opening and welcome you back into our clinic. Rest assured that our plans will start off very slowly in order to continue to keep everyone safe. We are also happy to continue with curbside service instead of in-person for your appointments if that is your preference.

Here are a few details about our opening that we’d like to share:

  • One family member will be allowed into the building for appointments with our veterinarians
  • Other types of visits will remain curbside, including surgery check-in and check outs, technician appointments, medication and food pick-ups.
  • Masks are required for both our team and our visitors.
  • When you have arrived for your appointment, text us at 905-261-9734 to let us know you are here. Be sure to tell us your name, your furry companion’s name, and the time of your appointment. One of our friendly team members will meet you and your best buddy at the front door and take you right into the exam room to avoid any crowding in our small waiting room.
  • When your appointment with the doctor has concluded, the technician will walk you back to the front door, so that you and your companion can wait in the comfort of your vehicle while we prepare your bill and any medication, food, or certificates to go home.
  • Once we are all ready, one of our lovely receptionists will give you a quick call to settle payment over the phone with a credit card, or at the door with a debit card.

As always, if you are in self isolation, are positive for COVID-19, have been in contact with a COVID-19 positive person, or simply are not feeling well, please contact our team and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment.

Please visit our website often for the most recent changes. As always, feel free to contact us by email or phone for all your pet’s needs.

Thank you for your patience and support during this time.
